Former President Donald Trump on Monday confirmed new top executives for the Republican National Committee, including North Carolina GOP Chairman Michael Whatley as chairman and his daughter-in-law Lara Trump as co-chair.
“RNS SHOULD be a good partner in the presidential elections. He has to do the job that we expect the national party to do and do it flawlessly,” said Trump, the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination.
If elected by the committee, Watley will replace Ronna McDaniel, who ran the RNC for seven years.
