Mataram (ANTARA) – The Mataram City General Election Monitoring Agency (Bawaslu), West Nusa Tenggara Province is overseeing the distribution of logistics for the 2024 election in 50 sub-districts of Mataram City.
“Today, we are increasing the number of inspectors to oversee the distribution process of election 2024 logistics from sub-districts, sub-districts to 1,248 polling stations (TPS) across Mataram city,” said Mataram City Bawaslu Chairman Muhammad Yusril in Mataram on Tuesday. .
This was conveyed on the sidelines of the monitoring and supervision of the logistics distribution process for the 2024 elections by the Mataram General Election Commission (GEC).
It was said that the monitoring of the distribution of logistics, including ballot papers, ballot boxes, exchange forms, voting tools, ink and others, was to ensure the security of the various logistics of the election, as well as to check the condition and completeness logistics to be distributed.
“We have engaged 1,248 TPP supervisors and all sub-district and sub-district supervisors or about 1,400 supervisors,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mataram City CPC member Muslih Suaib said that the logistics distribution in Mataram City was done on the 1st day of voting because all areas of Mataram City were easily accessible and the road access was adequate, so the distribution of logistics did not take much time.
In addition, H-1 logistics distribution was implemented as a security guarantee to make ballot boxes, ballots and other logistics more secure.
“These logistics have to be maintained 24 hours a day, so it’s relatively safer if we distribute it to H-1s before the vote,” he said.
It is noted that for the distribution of material and technical support, the Communist Party of Ukraine formed six teams, which will later distribute 6,240 ballot boxes and other material and technical support for the elections.
Each team will distribute ballot boxes to 50 constituencies in six counties. For the transportation of all material and technical support, the Communist Party of Ukraine prepared 17 trucks and 102 loaders.
“We have also coordinated with PPK, PPS and KPPS to directly distribute ballot boxes and other logistics so that they do not pile up in the village head’s office,” he said.
Mataram city has 1,248 polling stations spread over 50 sub-districts in six sub-districts with a final electoral roll (DPT) of 316,549.
Meanwhile, to anticipate the rain, Muslih continued, his party had prepared a tarpaulin and packaging for the ballot boxes. In addition to allowing the ballot boxes to arrive directly at the sub-district commission, his party also agreed with the local police to escort and regulate traffic.
“In essence, we have foreseen all the possibilities that can disrupt the distribution of logistics. Let us come together to the polling stations to vote on Wednesday, February 14, 2024,” he said.
