The Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Series 9 are reported to have a “ghosting” problem.

MacRumors has obtained an internal memo that details how some Apple Watch Ultra 2 or Series 9 users are doing felt false touches to their displays.
Described as “ghost touches”, the cause of the problem the display “jumps randomly” causing the Apple Watch to accidentally initiate a call or prevent the user from entering their passcode to unlock the device.
The internal memo also instructs authorized service providers not to repair damaged Apple Watches while Apple thoroughly investigates the issue. A software update will be enough to fix this problem.
Meanwhile, there are affected users advised to force restart Apple Watch holding down the digital crown and the side button at the same time for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
